New Faculty/Staff

Roger Green, N.D., F.N.P. – Assistant Professor in Nursing, School of Nursing, joined the College in August, 2005 from Rocky Mount University. Dr. Green received his N.D. from Rush University, M.S.N. from The University of Tampa, and his B.S.N. from Curry College.

Eric (Jeng-Liang) Hwang , Ph.D., OTR/L – Assistant Professor in Occupational Therapy, Division of Health Sciences, joined the College in August, 2005 from York College, the City University of New York. Dr. Hwang received his Ph.D. in Rehabilitation Science and M.S. in Occupational Therapy from the University of Buffalo, the State University of New York.

Lee Hancock, Ph.D. – Assistant Professor in Kinesiology, Division of Kinesiology and Recreation, joined the College in August, 2005 from Arizona State University. Dr. Hancock received his Ph.D. in Physical Education, M.S. in Sport and Exercise Psychology, and B.A. in Psychology from Arizona State University.

Michele Linden, Ed.D. – Marital and Family Therapy (MFT) Program Coordinator and Assistant Professor in Human Services, Division of Human Development, joined the College in August, 2005 full-time from her previous position at CSUDH as a part-time lecturer in the MFT program. Dr. Linden also continues to serve as Clinical Director for New Horizons Family Mental Health Center in Glendale, California. Dr. Linden received her Ed.D. specializing in Learning & Instruction from the University of California, Los Angeles and her M.A. in Educational Psychology from California State University, Northridge.

Catherine (Kate) Muller, B.A. – Lead Instructor, Orthotics Program and Full-time Lecturer in Orthotics and Prosthetics (O&P), Division of Health Sciences, joined the College in August, 2005 full-time from her previous position at CSUDH as a part-time instructor in the O&P Program. Kate received her B.A. from the University of Kansas and her certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics from Northwestern University Prosthetic-Orthotic Center.

Dean Rabbitt, B.S. – Full-time Lecturer in Orthotics and Prosthetics (O&P), Division of Health Sciences, joined the College in August, 2005 full-time from his previous position at CSUDH as a part-time instructor in the O&P Program. Dean received his B.S. in Orthotics and Prosthetics from California State University, Dominguez Hills.

New Staff - Fall 2005

Jessica Barragan – Advisor/Student Services Professional IB, Student Services Center, joined the College in September, 2005 from her previous position as a Behavior Therapist. Jessica received her B.A. in Psychology from San Diego State University and is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Counseling from Loyola Marymount University.

Sarah Scott – Administrative Support Assistant, Student Services Center, joined the College in June, 2005 from her previous position as an Office Manager. Sarah received her B.A. in Sociology from California State University, Long Beach.

Alma Melena – Administrative Support Assistant, Academic Support Services Center, joined the College in July, 2005 from her previous position at a local bank. Alma received her B.A. in Business Administration from California State University, Dominguez Hills.
