Diane L. Miller, Assistant Professor, received her MS in Psychology, MSW, and Ph.D. in Social Work and Psychology from the Joint Doctoral Program in Social Work and Social Science at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. She also has a graduate certificate in Women’s Studies and was a pre-doctoral NIMH Trainee in Violence and Mental Health Across the Lifespan. She is primarily a qualitative researcher and is concerned with social work epistemology and the use of feminist and emancipatory research methods. Her practice and research interests concern adolescents and their sexual behavior, including: young women and young men's sense of sexual agency in consensual heterosexual interactions; sexual offending perpetrated by young women; and implicit ideologies of gender in scholars’ theorizing about sexual offending by males versus females. dmiller@csudh.edu |
