  - Please review the qualifications for membership for your category (BSN, MSN or nurse leader). The qualifications for membership by category are listed below.

 - Submitting your application indicates that to the best of your knowledge, you meet the qualifications as shown for the category for which you are applying.

 - Complete the form and hit “Submit!”

 - Nurse Leader applicants will need to attach a current resume that demonstrates leadership in nursing (such as a formal position within an organization, community service, or precepting)

 - The Xi Theta Board will review all applications on a monthly basis. You will receive follow-up correspondence by email regarding annual dues, the formal induction process, and the many opportunities that Xi Theta/STTI has to offer!

Eligibility criteria for Undergraduate students (BSN)   

• have completed 12 credit hours at CSUDH;
• have completed ½ of the nursing curriculum towards their degree;
• achieve academic excellence by a GPA of 3.0 or higher for CSUDH coursework;
• rank in the upper 35 percentile of graduating class  (**NOTE – SON will check this for applicants);
•  meet the expectation of academic integrity;
• Alumni are eligible to apply for membership under the BSN and MSN student requirements for one (1) year after graduation

Eligibility criteria for Graduate students (MSN)

• have completed ¼ of the nursing curriculum at CSUDH;
• achieve academic excellence by a GPA of 3.5 or higher for CSUDH coursework;
• meet the expectation of academic integrity
• Alumni are eligible to apply for membership under the BSN and MSN student requirements for one (1) year after graduation

Eligibility criteria for Nurse Leaders

• be legally recognized to practice nursing in his/her country;
• have a minimum of a baccalaureate degree or the equivalent in any field (bachelors degree can be other than nursing;
• demonstrate achievement in nursing.
•  Nurse leaders will need to submit a current resume along with their application – there is a place to do this when filling out the form
