Management, Faculty and Confidential employees appointed half time or more, on an appointment exceeding six months will automatically be enrolled in an employer-paid long term disability insurance plan through Standard Life. The LTD coverage provides two-thirds of the employee's monthly salary to a maximum of $10,000 after a waiting period of 180 days. The monthly premium for LTD coverage is fully employer paid.
