Ride Share  

Welcome to California State University, Dominguez Hills, and the Employee and Student Transportation Services --a commuter resource website. Our services are designed to inform faculty, staff, and students about less expensive and environmentally friendly commuting alternatives. These include walking, biking, carpooling, vanpooling (coming soon), transit programs, and other services such as compressed workweek, flextime, and telecommuting. We would like to give you the information to make wise commuting choices -- choices that reduce traffic congestion, pollution, and commuting related stress -- and save you money.

Stop driving YOURSELF crazy! Our goal is to provide services and resources to help motivate YOU to commute to work by ways other than driving alone. Here are a few of the benefits you can enjoy by using our suggested alternative commute options:

• Get to work relaxed and refreshed

• Save money and reduce wear and tear on your vehicle

• Save time by using the HOV lane and help clean the air
• Easier recruitment and retention
• Reduced employee commuting time and expenses
• Less stress among employees
• Improved employee morale, job satisfaction and productivity
• Reduced absenteeism and tardiness
• Achieve Average Vehicle Rider ship (AVR) goal of 1.5%
