Humanities External Degree- Students Eligibility
As a Humanities External Degree Student, you are eligible to borrow
a William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan for up to the full amount
of your registration fees. Students must enroll in a minimum of
four (4) graduate units per term, maintain a minimum grade point
average of 3.0, and have no incomplete grades. When a loan is
certified for the current academic year, it will be based on full
time (8 units) enrollment plus 1.5% of the loan amount. For example,
a loan request for $1240.00 would be increased by 1.5% (rounded
up to $19.00) for a revised award of $1259.00. The 1.5% increase
is based on the loan fees, which are deducted from your loan processing.
The new result will be $1240.00 to cover your registration fees.
Loan Entrance Counseling: Students receiving a loan for the first
time, or who took a leave for one year or more are required to
