COURSE OBJECTIVES
To understand the various themes of postmodernism, how they appear in architecture,
the visual arts, literature, and philosophy and how they may be seen in
contrast with modernism. To understand the functions of the
various arts and humanities in the postmodern era. To develop critical and
perceptual abilities and enhance aesthetic sensibilities.
