for the Visions of Diversity Project.
Links and documents are products of campus research on diversity. The goal was to provide a report on enhancing the University's efforts to promote awareness of diversity to its graduates, and their impact on service-based learning and "Communiversity." As the campus expands facilities, renovating its capacity to serve a larger population, these changes should also include a vision of what will be needed in the future, and what approaches to developing cultural competence have succeeded in the past. The report includes a visual historical reference of the University's pursuit of its goals, a documentary of student, educator, and community leaders. The report evaluates findings in a survey of what students recommend as the best practices in teaching and community-related activities, particularly, academic activities that support interactions with the learning community, its surrounding environment and populations.
