Copyright Training

What's an "orphan work"? Doesn’t the Fair Use Doctrine cover material I put on my course Web site? What about Creative Commons? To get the answers to these and other questions, come to Copyright 101, a painless one-hour introduction to copyright law. Here are the details:

  • Wednesday and Thursday, September 17 and 18, 2008 (come to one or the other)
  • 12-1 p.m.
  • LIB C510 (Center for Teaching and Learning)
  • Reservations are not required.

CSUDH faculty, students, and staff are welcome at this free seminar. Questions? E-mail Marion.

Check out "A Fair(y) User Tale" on YouTube, a light-hearted 10-minute overview of copyright and fair use.
