Kappa Delta Chi Sorority, Inc. is a community service based sorority. As sisters of the Alpha-Gamma chapter, we pride ourselves on the level of commitment we have in extending our services to the campus as well as the surrounding community. We aspire to give back to the communities that have shaped and fashioned our lives in hopes that we may inspire others to do the same. As a result, several of our members continuously exceed the required amount of service hours and continue to serve others even after they have completed their education.
With events and resources nationwide to provide support for cancer patients, our national philanthropy is The American Cancer Society. In the past, we have contributed to our national philanthropy by way of donations, volunteering at events, hosting events, and bringing awareness to our community. Our chapter continues to find new and innovative ways of supporting this organization because for several of our members, cancer has affected our lives in various ways.
Our chapter’s philanthropy is One Incredible Family, Inc., which seeks to aid the various disadvantaged sectors of Los Angeles County. Some of those sectors include the Homeless, People with AIDS/HIV, At-risk youths, and the Elderly. Our members look forward to the many annual events they offer. We are so passionate about this organization that we not only invite our other members and alumnae, but we have also invited our friends, families, and other greek organization members along.
