ARTICLE I. NAME
|
| The name of this organization
shall be the Latino Faculty and Staff Association
of California State University, Dominguez Hills,
hereinafter referred to as LFSA. |
| |
|
ARTICLE II. PURPOSE
|
| The purpose of this organization
shall be: |
|
1.
|
To facilitate and assist in the
development and continuation of the |
|
|
organization in order to address
the interests of the Latino community at |
| |
Dominguez Hills. |
|
2.
|
To promote and pursue affirmative
action efforts to achieve and maintain |
| |
parity of Latinos in the college
community. |
|
3.
|
To preserve a mechanism to ensure
recruitment and retention of Latino |
| |
students. |
|
4.
|
To ensure that essential support
services are accessible to Latino students. |
|
5.
|
To articulate policies and procedures
affecting Latino faculty, staff and |
| |
students at Dominguez Hills. |
|
6.
|
To develop and maintain a communication
network between LFSA and |
| |
the Latino community in Southern
California. |
|
7.
|
To foster unity and cooperation
among all Latinos. |
