Professional Interests

My interests are in mathematics education at all levels, but especially professional development with K-12 or college instructors and its effects on participants. I am also delving into the study of students’ beliefs and their relationship to achievement.

My doctoral work was in algebraic geometry, in the area of regularity of smooth varieties.
