Pre-Calculus Projects Dr. Sally Moite

At the end of some sections in the text, there are Projects, Miniprojects, and Writing Mathematics Exercises.

You will be assigned two specific projects or exercises to do, one from the first parts of the course (due on Monday, Oct 20) and one from the later parts (due on Friday, Dec 5).

Follow the instructions in the text, and give a full description in your own words of the problem, what you did to solve it, and the results.

Give the full solution asked for, including working out preliminary problems or examples.

Write in complete sentences. Give full references to any web page or other source you use to do the project on a separate page. Give graphs or diagrams if applicable. Make sure the scales are shown on graphs (and that the scales are even), and that the scales are labeled for applied problem.

Projects will be graded for correctness, completeness, and expression.
