Enrollment

Everyone student who is currently taking a math or science in which a workshop is being offered is welcome to participate. To enroll to the AMP program, simply fill out the enrollee contract and return it to a facilitator.

Attending the AMP workshops help you better understand the materials covered in class. Moreover, you will get in touch with our wonderful staff and students who have share the same goal with you. Also if you are a minority (African American, Hispanic, Native American, or Pacific Islander) and fulfill all of the following criteria at the end of the semseter:

then you are qualify for a stipend of $150. In addition, if your workshop attendence is 80% or higher then you are qualify for a stipend of $300.

Textbook AMP students may get, depending on availability of our funding, reimbursement for their textbooks at the end of the semester for the science classes that they get A's. So keep those receipts and study hard!!


Facilitator Application

To be an AMP facilitator, you should have good standing in the courses you are trying to facilitate. Also recommendation from faculty member(s) is definitely a plus.
