Multicultural Center Programming Board
(MCCPB)
MCCPB
is a leadership opportunity for students to assist with the planning and implementation
of MCC events and programs. MCCPB is the governing student body
responsible for the review and approval of MCC co-sponsored programs.
The Multicultural Center
Programming Board (MCCPB) is responsible for planning, producing and
implementing various cultural programs and events during the academic
year. MCCPB is a student-centered programming board, with support and
membership made of CSUDH students that serve as the primary leadership
development vehicle of the CSUDH Multicultural Center. The
board is advised and supervised by the MCC Coordinator.
The MCC Programming Board exists to collaborate with student, and
community groups, campus departments, and the MCC Advisory Board to
develop programs that appropriately serve the University community. MCCPB
sponsors and co-sponsors programs and events that promote education and
the celebration of diversity and culture. In addition to programming
campus activities, the MCC offers meeting space, a multicultural resource
library and numerous opportunities for student leadership and
volunteerism. It is located in Carson,
California - one of the most
ethnically diverse cities in the nation - on the campus of CSUDH - the
second-most ethnically diverse institution of higher learning in the United States.
