When you change your password through http://dhnet.csudh.edu, after successfully changing your password, you will be given the date that your password will expire. Please place a password expiration reminder in your Outlook calendar a couple of days prior to that date.

do I know how much of my quota is being used? select Properties of "your name" at the bottom of the selection window. At the bottom left of the Properties window, click on the Folder Size button. For Outlook 2003 users, you can scroll to the bottom of the folder list and select folder sizes.
All of my mail is important and I don't want to erase any of it, what can I
do? mailbox, but store a copy in an archive repository. Your archives can reside on either your local hard drive - but be sure to back it up - or in your home directory on the IT file server, which is backed up daily. Archives are searchable and accessible in your Outlook, so you can find the message that you need. Another alternative is to create a .pst file. This will create a "snapshot" of your entire mailbox or whichever section you wish to capture. This file can be mounted and searched in Outlook and can be copied like any other file. The IT Helpdesk can help you with detailed instructions on creating archives and pst files.
