Orthotics Option

We appreciate you interest in our Certificate Programs in Orthotics and prosthetics at California State University Dominguez Hills. Each practitioner level certificate program consists of a minimum of one year of academic credit. The Programs are designed to produce professional level graduates who will be qualified to sit for the American Board for Certification Exams in prosthetics or orthotics after one year of post-graduate experience in a NCOPE ( National Commission on Orthotic and Prosthetic Education ) accredited Residency site under the supervision of an ABC certified practitioner (s). 

Admissions to the Orthotic Certificate Program involves two steps:

First, an applicant must possess a bachelors degree, and second, the applicant must meet the special criteria for admission established by the Admissions Review Committee. Applications for the Fall 2008 Orthotic Certificate Program due by March 18, 2008. Acceptances will be finalized for each program approximately one month after the application due date. 

Financial aid is available through CSU Dominguez Hills. Call for more information or visit www.studentaid.ed.gov for an application.

If for any reason you drop or are dismissed from the Program within the first three weeks, you will be eligible for a 65% refund; after three weeks, no refunds are available.
