Certificate Options
Prerequisites and course content for the Certificate Programs in Orthotics and Prosthetics will adhere to the Standards for an Accredited Educational Program for the Orthotist and Prosthetist, developed by NCOPE in 1993. The entering student must hold a Bachelors Degree, preferably in a health related major, and must complete all prerequisite courses before starting the Certificate Program. Certain prerequisites may be taken concurrently with consent of the Director. Past working or volunteer experience in the field is also an important selection criteria.
