OLLI@CSUDH Celebrates 10 Years!
The OLLI Tenth Anniversary Brunch & Celebration was held on Wednesday, May 1 at the University Library. President Willie J. Hagan addressed the nearly 200 OLLI members, OLLI instructors, and staff in attendance. Dean Margaret Gordon discussed the membership drive to reach 1,000 members by November, 2013 in order to apply for a second million dollar endowment from The Bernard Osher Foundation. Dr. Edd Whetmore presented a sample OLLI lecture titled “Love is All Around: The Cerebral Mary Tyler Moore Trivia Quiz.” As part of OLLI’s on-going fundraising, OLLI@CSUDH promotional items were on display and for sale.
