Beginning Gmail

Are your grandchildren bugging you about getting into the e-mail generation? Do you realize that it's very easy to get your very own personal e-mail account? You'll leave this class with your brand new and free Google Mail (Gmail) account. You'll be able to access your account anywhere you can access the Internet — at your public library, perhaps, Starbuck's, or at the CSUDH student computer lab. Come to class thinking about a username you'd hope to use, e.g., Princess Diana. Wait. That one's probably already taken. So have alternatives in mind.

Prerequisite: Computers 101 or equivalent experience. PC and Mac users welcome!
