Schedule
This course provides an overview of OSHA policies, procedures,
and standards for the construction industry, as well as safety
and health principles. Each section of the OSHA construction
standards is covered with special emphasis placed on more
hazardous areas, using OSHA standards as a guide. Upon successful
completion of the course, you receive a 30-hour Construction
Safety and Health Outreach Training course completion card.
Required Prerequisite: None.
When you complete this course you will be able to:
• Find correct OSHA Standards in 29 CFR 1926
• Identify common causes of accidents and fatalities
in hazardous areas of construction industry
• Identify abatement techniques for hazards found in
construction
