The 10-hour Maritime Outreach Course for Shipyard Employment is intended to provide entry-level safety and health-hazard information tailored to shipyard employees involved in ship repairing, shipbuilding, and shipbreaking. This entry level course focuses on identification, avoidance, control, and prevention – not OSHA standards. Course fulfills current Navy requirements for work shipyards and marine terminals.
Individuals responsible for overseeing safety in industries such as: Construction, Manufacturing, Agriculture, Maritime and General Industry.
Course Length: 2 days
Recommended Materials: Pen, pencil, highlighter and writing pad.
