  1. In class demonstration labs and assignments – 50% (10 assignments @5%)

  2. The first six weeks of the semester will have lab sessions that will involve a variety of demonstrations and studies concerning issues related to biological psychology. You will receive information during the lab concerning the assignments for these. The last three assignments will be related to developing your independent project. You must be in attendance at the lab in order to submit a homework assignment. No late papers will be accepted. There will be one make-up lab at the end of the semester.
  3. Individual Research Project – 50%
You must demonstrate your procedure before collecting any data. The final write-up, in APA format, is due on May 19, 1999. The grading is as follows:

5% Abstract

25% Introduction (full literature review)

5% Method

10% Results

5% Discussion

References (-5% if not done properly)

Appendix (-10% if raw data and computer printouts not included, -20% if copies of

articles not included)
