Classical Ballet

In keeping with the spirit of research, dance faculty Kenneth Walker has created a ballet demonstration/performance.  This presentation will give you an insight into the rigorous training required of all professional ballet dancers.  Over 500 years old; this classical dance form demands skill at the ballet barre, in centre, practice, and travelling steps across the floor.  Beginning with a modest plié and ending with a respectful reverence, you will find dancers throughout the world carrying forward the traditions of ballet to create beauty, elegance, power and perfection.
