New Student Orientation (NSO) programs are provided fifteen times a year to incoming, admitted freshman and transfer students. A positive and well-balanced orientation program is integral to a student's ability to transition smoothly from high school and other colleges and universities to Dominguez Hills. CSUDH Orientation information is provided by the University Academic Advising, the Admissions Office, Records and Registration, Financial Aid Office, Office of Student Support Services, the Veteran Student Programs Office, International Student Programs, and Student Life.
Students have the opportunity to register for classes online via MyCSUDH at all NSO programs as long as academic advising has been received prior to or as part of the NSO program they attend. Student ID cards are provided as well to minimize the need for students to stand in line during the first days of classes. NSO at Dominguez Hills is both welcoming and great benefit to our new students. Contact the Office of Student Life by phone at (310) 243-2081 for more information about any and all CSUDH undergraduate New Student Orientation programs.
