Refunds
In order to receive a full refund of mandatory fees, including non-resident tuition fee, a student must cancel registration or drop all courses prior to the first day of instruction for the term.
Students who have completely withdrawn from the University in accordance with the University's established procedures will receive a prorated refund of a portion of mandatory fees, including non-resident tuition fee, equal to the portion of the term that remains at the time the student withdraws.
No student withdrawing after the 60 percent point in the term will be entitled to a refund of any mandatory fees or non-resident tuition fee. For courses of less than four (4) weeks, no refunds of mandatory fees and non-resident tuition fee will be made unless a student cancels registration or drops all classes prior to the first day in accordance with the University's established procedures and deadlines. - Refunds will be processed approximately three weeks after February 8, 2013.
- All refunds are made in accordance with Title V of the California Administrative Code (Please see Prorata table).
- Not all fees are refundable.
- $10 is retained by the University to cover processing and the non-refundable portion of the Tuition Fee.
- Refunds are issued in the form of a check, or credited back to the credit card used.
- Students whose unit load drops from 6.1 or more units to 6.0 or fewer units may be eligible for a refund of the difference in the Tuition Fee during the campus designated drop period.
Parking Refund
A written application for a refund of parking fees must be accompanied by the permit for which the refund is requested and the University has issued.
