Scholarships

Aide to Teacher (ATT) Program
The program pays for a maximum of three semesters of student fees (may be all or partial), books, and supplies for teacher aides (employed by eligible districts) accepted into the program who maintain a minimum 2.7 GPA and complete at least 6 units each semester. The grant also provides mentors for participating ATT students.

Dominguez Brand Award Scholarship
One to three students may be selected every academic year; the award pays $3,000 per academic year through the credential year; qualified Liberal Studies majors will be invited to apply during the Spring semester when openings are available. This award is administered by the Liberal Studies Program.


Grants (no repayment, inquire at the Financial Aid Office)

Pell Grant
For undergraduates and credential students; range is $250 - $2,100 per year; student must enrolled at least one-half time. For undergraduates who are California residents; based on financial need; range up to $1,590 per year.

SEOG
For undergraduates with exceptional need; range is $200 - $2,000 per year.

Cal Grant A
For undergraduates who are California residents; based on need and scholastic achievement; covers one-half of registration fees.

Cal Grant B
For undergraduates who are California residents; based on financial need; range up to $1,590 per year.

Educational Opportunity Program (EOP)
For undergraduates; range is $100 - $1,000 per year.

State University Grants
For California residents.

Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA)
Available to students who are at least one-fourth American Indian, Inuit or Aleut.


Loans (must be repaid, inquire at the Financial Aid Office)

National Direct Student Loan
Long-term loans, maximum of $2,500 for undergraduates per year.

California Guaranteed Student Loan
Long-term loans, maximum of $2,500 for undergraduates per year.

Plus Loan Program
Available to parents, up to $3,000 per year for a total of $15,000 for undergraduates.

Short-Term Loan
Emergency 30 day no-interest loan.


Work Programs (inquire at the Financial Aid Office)

College Work Study Program
Jobs on campus and at non-profit agencies off-campus; allocations up to $3,600 per year.

Student Assistant
Jobs on campus, not based on financial need.
