The Technology Based Education Program (TBE)  is an option of the M. A. in Education degree offered through the College of Education at California State University, Dominguez Hills. The 30 units of coursework include six technology classes, three “core” classes common to all M. A. in Education options, and a thesis/project. The program is aligned with standards from the International Society for Technology in Education  (http://www.iste.org/) The TBE program is designed to provide the skills and knowledge to ensure that teachers can become technology resources for their schools  and districts. Most TBE students are practicing teachers, but there is no credential requirement for admission, and the program provides no credential.
