The Technology Based Education
Program at CSU, Dominguez Hills, provides educational technology
training for in-service and pre-service teachers and professional
trainers. The course TBE 520--Introduction
to Computers in Education fulfills one of the requirements
for California teachers to obtain a clear credential. A degree, Master
of Arts in Education, TechnologyBased Education Option, and a
5-course certificate, Computer Based Education Certificate, are
offered through the program.
M.A. in Education,
Technology Based Education Option (30 units)
The M.A. in Education requires
completion of 30 units of coursework with a minimum 3.0 grade
point average. A minimum of 21 semester units must be completed
in residence. Courses taken previously may be used to meet the
course content requirements of a graduate program if they have
been completed within the seven years immediately preceding the
completion of the requirements of the degree. However, no
courses may apply toward the required number of units of
approved graduate work that have been used to meet the
requirements of another degree.
