Course Description

This course is designed to provide students with an opportunity to program the CAI script written in GED 536 in consultation with the instructor. It will be treated as an independent study course, where students will confer with the instructor on a "need" basis. In addition, informal classes will be held to provide a forum for students to discuss programming strategies, principles and problems. The instructor will convene these meetings and introduce advanced HyperTalk programming principles, and provide access to additional HyperCard Stacks.

Grading Policy

Grades will be based on the performance of the final project, using the following criteria:

• New information should be presented clearly.
• The lessons should contain remedial branching that is based on an analysis of incorrect strategies used by students.
• Screens should be clear and well-designed.
• Program documentation should be clear.
• User interface should be intuitive and "friendly."
