Integrated Option

The Liberal Studies: Integrated Option makes available an accelerated program combining the requirements for a bachelor’s degree and a multiple subject teaching credential. Participants complete undergraduate Liberal Studies and Teacher Education coursework concurrently.

The curriculum integrates upper division subject matter and credential methods coursework. Students admitted into this highly competitive program are allowed to complete Liberal Studies and Teacher Education course requirements simultaneously, earning the Liberal Studies bachelor’s degree and the Multiple Subject Credential at graduation. Optimally, the program is completed in four semesters, following the Liberal Studies Pre-major Semester.
