Pre-Teaching
Program – Multiple Subject Credential
The Pre-Teaching Program
is designed to provide support for
students who plan to enter the Multiple
Subject Credential Program, but have not
yet passed CSET*. This is a one-semester
program that includes both subject
matter preparation and credential
coursework.
Application deadlines:
- Summer – Last Friday of March
- Fall – April 1
- Spring – October 1
NOTE: Deadline dates are
subject to change
Admission Requirements:
- Application to the university,
with official transcripts and $55.00
fee
- Application to the Multiple
Subject Pre-Teaching Program,
including
- Passing CBEST scores
- Transcripts (Official), with
GPA of 2.67 overall, or 2.75 in
last 60 units
- Certificate of Clearance or
copy of emergency or substitute
permit, or pre-intern
certificate
- TB test results (no more
than 6 months from program
application deadline)
- CSET* scores please provide a
copy of the receipt showing you
are scheduled to take the CSET
- Evidence of having met U. S.
Constitution requirement
- $50.00 fee
*NOTE: After successfully
passing the CSET and providing a copy of
those scores to TED, you will be moved
into the Multiple Subject Teacher
Credential program

** If your scores are not
available before the application
deadline, please submit a copy of
your test registration form.
