As part of our
program, the Transition to
Teaching Participants receive
the following benefits: |

Participants
will be working full-time
(earning full salary and
benefits) while attending
classes in the evening (only
twice a week for most of the
program)

We help
participants with job
placement in Middle
Schools and High Schools in
LAUSD Local Districts 6, 7, and
8 and LUSD.

Professional Development
Center – a few minutes away
from the school where you
will be working! Plus, you
don’t have to worry about
paying for parking!

Courses are
taught by CSUDH faculty and
district personnel
-
We provide
participants with
individualized coaching for
3 years - our coaches are
experts in the classroom and
in their subject matter.
They will support and
encourage you as you learn
the ropes!

Participants
receive on-going advisement
with a TED faculty member
-
We help
candidates with the
university, teacher
education and district
application phase and we
make sure all of your
questions are answered!

Participants
enjoy the benefit of tuition
reimbursement (up to
$5,000); as a university
intern, you will also
receive $150 to be used
towards textbooks (fall and
spring semesters)

create a strong peer support
network!
