Accreditation
Each program (option) with clinical component is accredited or approved by the recognized national accrediting agency for that field. Thus, graduates are eligible to take the national certification and state licensure examination(s) appropriate for the profession.
CSU Dominguez Hills offers one of the few four-year curricula culminating with the baccalaureate degree with eligibility to take the professional certifying examinations. Programs at many other institutions are not accredited and require five or more years to complete.
