Welcome to the home page for The Student Rights and Responsibilities Handbook for California State University Dominguez Hills. facade1.wmf (5406 bytes)

Through this page you will be able to access the policies and procedures which apply to students at the University.

The University seeks to create the optimum climate for academic excellence for both students and faculty. Within this climate, students must have the opportunity to develop an understanding of their roles as citizens in a democracy. In order to achieve these goals, the University strives to minimize its regulatory controls over individual student conduct and to maximize the opportunity for student self-control and self-discipline.

Students who attend the University are expected to conduct themselves in a manner compatible with the laws of federal, state and local governments, as well as with the stated purposes of the University. For further information on the expectations for student conduct, go to the Standards of Student Conduct page.

This page is under the administration of Dr. Boice Bowman, Vice President for Student Affairs, CSUDH. It is maintained by Larry Gray, Director of Student Development. For problems or questions regarding the site, contact lgray@csudh.edu
