About SSS
|
CSU Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) is dedicated to offering its students a world of opportunity thourgh innovative programs and an emphasis on "communiversity." The Student Support Services Program (SSS) offers 160 first-generation, low-income, or disabled students a wide network of support services that help ensure academic and personal sucess in college. Designed to increase the retention and graduation rates for underrepresented students who are admitted and enrolled at CSUDH, the program also strives to enhance participants' potential for graduation and professional schools. SSS is funded by the U.S.
Departement of Education and is administered by the Division of Student
Affairs and the CSUDH Foundation. SSS is part of the federally funded
TRIO programs, educational opportunity programs that help disadvantaged
students overcome environmental, cultural, and academic barriers to
higher education. |
