Presidential and Premier Scholarship Competition

Presidential and Premier Scholarship candidates and their parents will be invited to attend a special on-campus event on March 17, 2012, to meet and interview with faculty and staff, complete an essay, and learn about scholarship opportunities.

Presidential Scholarship

Description CSUDH's most prestigious scholarship covering full fees -- four years for freshman and two years for transfer students.
Amount $6,642
Requirements High School Graduates: Minimum of 3.5 GPA, Minimum 1000 SAT I* or 25 ACT.
Transfer Students: 3.4 GPA and 44 transferable units.
How To Apply Students must download and complete a separate scholarship application. Eligible students will be selected to attend an on-campus event on March 17, 2012, when they will write an essay and participate in interviews with faculty, staff and current scholars.

Katherine Bogdanovich Loker Scholarship

Description Awarded annually to an entering first-time freshman; renewable up to four years.
Amount $4,000
Requirements Minimum of 3.0 GPA. Must be a resident of Carson, Palos Verdes, San Pedro, Torrance or Wilmington, CA.
How To Apply Students must download and complete a separate scholarship application. Eligible students will be selected to attend an on-campus event on March 17, 2012, when they will write an essay and participate in interviews with faculty, staff and current scholars.

Honors Scholarship

Description This scholarship is renewable up to four years for freshman and two years for transfer students.
Amount $2,500 - $3,000
Requirements High School Graduates: Minimum of 3.4 GPA, Minimum 1000 SAT I* or 25 ACT.
Transfer Students: 3.2 GPA. Must meet all general education requirements.
How To Apply Students must download and complete a separate scholarship application. Eligible students will be selected to attend an on-campus event on March 17, 2012, when they will write an essay and participate in interviews with faculty, staff and current scholars.

* SAT 1 scores are Math plus Critical Reading scores only.
