Summer Financial Aid
Summer Aid for Summer 2010
Did you know financial aid is available during the summer term? Summer 2010 is considered the last term of the 2009-2010 academic year. This means you may be eligible to receive any remaining financial aid from your 2009-2010 awards (funding not guaranteed). If you are interested in future summer financial aid, contact the Financial Aid Office or check back soon for program updates.
Eligibility For Summer 2010
- Summer 2010 is the last term of our 2009-2010 academic year.
- The number of summer units will impact your aid eligibility.
- The actual cost of attendance (fees, books, etc.) will be used to determine eligibility.
- The Federal Pell Grant Program and Federal Direct Loan Programs have annual limits on the amount a student can receive during an academic year. The State University Grant program has limited awards for the summer and will be awarded on a first come first serve basis until funds are exhausted. A full-time student may have exhausted program eligibility during the fall and spring semesters.
- Failure to meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) requirements for financial aid recipients will impact summer eligibility.

- All offers of summer financial aid are contingent on students completing courses for the current semester. We will review grades at the end of the semester and if you did not meet the requirements of our Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy, you will be required to pay your summer registration fees.
Payment of Summer Registration Fees
- Students who have been awarded summer aid sufficient to cover their registration fees will not be required to pay anything to prevent their registration from being washed out.
