Student
Organizations
The growth in student organizations is very positive
right now at Dominguez Hills. More than sixty student
groups currently take advantage of benefits and privileges
afforded only student-run organizations. Such benefits
include free use of campus facilities and resources,
as well as an opportunity to apply for ASI funding.
Key privileges include on-campus recruitment, fundraising
and use of the University name as an official organization
at CSUDH. Joining a club/organization at CSUDH can really
be a step in the right direction for students looking
for leadership development opportunities.
To request the paperwork and information you need to
start a new student organization, please stop by the
Office of Student Life in Welch Hall D-245A or call
(310) 243-2081.
To submit your organization's events for the Student
Life Calendar, send an email to adowell@csudh.edu.
For a complete list of all Clubs and Organizations currently
registered at California State University Dominguez
Hills, visit the Office of Student Life in Welch Hall.
Greek
Life: Fraternities & Sororities
At present, our Greek system is growing and finding
strength in increased university support. The fraternities
and sororities on our campus have various origins, including
historically Latina(o) and historically African-American
beginnings. While individual Greek organizations are
not funded by the Associated Students, Inc., their activities
and events are often supported through CO-sponsorships
with the Office of Student life and student groups.
