California State University, Dominguez Hills is part of the
23 institution California State University system. It was founded in
1960 on a grassy knoll of what was once the vast Rancho San Pedro
land grant and lies on the northern border of the city of Carson.
The campus occupies 346 acres, much of which remains to be
developed.
CSUDH has a rich diversity of academic offerings across a
broad spectrum of disciplines. It is a national leader in Distance
Learning programs, including an on-line MBA program, and statewide
nursing program. Current enrollment is over 12,000.
