CSUDH Seniors, Alumni and New Graduates
Get your job search in gear!
Thursday, June 5, 2008 8:30 am – 1:00 p.m. in the CSUDH Loker Student Union.
The Offices of Student Development and Alumni Relations are partnering to present this half day job search conference. The
day will explore several aspects of the job search process. It will offer a resume critique clinic, interview techniques and a networking and job search seminar.
The morning’s schedule will include a continental breakfast and several fun, interactive
workshop sessions. The program will flow as follows:
8:30 – 9:00 am: Breakfast and Opening Remarks: the purpose of the day and a
get-acquainted ice breaker.
9:00 am – 10:15 am: Resume Session: Resume Critique with reviewers going around to review student and alumni resumes. Be sure to BRING YOUR RESUMES!
10:30 – 11:45 am: Interview Skills Sessions.
11:45 – 1:00: Networking and Job Search Skills: Find out the most effective strategies for looking for a job.

There is a cost of $10.00 for participants.
If you would like to attend, go to the registration form, print it out, and either bring it to the office or mail it with your check for $10 payable to "CSUDH Foundation-Student Development" CSUDH Student Development Office, Welch Hall D360, CSUDH, Carson, CA 90747 as soon as possible. Space is limited. Reservation deadline is on Monday, June 2, 2008.
