Q: What is toroMail?
A: toroMail is a reliable e-mail service for CSUDH students. The software manufacturer calls it Mirapoint Message Server, and we call it toroMail. Log into http://toromail.csudh.edu to access your e-mail. Or you can get to toroMail from the University home page; see Quick Links and Current Students. Read more about toroMail at http://www.csudh.edu/infotech/publications/itnf06/MyMail.asp.
Q: How much space do I have in toroMail?
A: You have space to store up to 100 megabytes (Mb) worth of e-mail messages in toroMail.
Q: Why can't I send/receive mail? My inbox is empty!
A: Even if your inbox is empty, you may be accumulating mail in the Sent or Deleted folders. Mail saved there counts in the mailbox limit of 100 Mb [above]. Mail stays in the Deleted folder until you empty the trash, an option on the Delete menu.
Q: Does toroMail offer a POP feature?
A: Yes! toroMail introduced a POP feature in 2008. Read more at POP your toroMail.
