Kenneth Walker , artistic director of Kenneth Walker Dance Project (KWDP), creates contemporary ballets that have been performed in New York, Virginia, South Carolina, and throughout California. As a performer, Ken has appeared as a guest artist and/or company member for Ballet Pacifica, Sacramento Ballet, Oakland Ballet, and the Minnesota Ballet. He has created works for the Southern California Dance Theatre, the former Ballet Pacifica’s Dancer Choreography Project and its summer programs, Brentwood Dance Company, San Pedro City Ballet, Dance Peninsula, DanceCorps, Petaluma City Ballet, Chico Community Ballet, Peninsula Dance Theater, South Bay Ballet, Pasadena Dance Theatre, and Sacramento Ballet. For KWDP he has created numerous original works and restaged close to a dozen more that he created for other companies. KWDP is a Horton Award finalist for Outstanding Performance by a Company. As a master teacher Kenneth has served on the faculty of CSU Dominguez Hills and taught master classes at El Camino College, Moorpark College, LA County High School for the Arts, Regional Dance America.
