The Toros softball team recently went to downtown LA to promote softball and conduct a clinic for younger players. Bunting techniques, as well as other skills, were covered in this fun outing.

Cal State Dominguez Hills softball head coach Jim Maier, his assistant coaches and members of the Toros softball team were the marquee participants at the RBI Clinic, conducted on an adjacent field by the Los Angeles Coliseum, in downtown Los Angeles. The event exposed high school student-athletes to softball at different levels.

Oct 24, 2006 -- CSUDH Volleyball, Dig 4 Kids Foundation Team Up to Assist Local Youth
With an invitation from the Dig 4 Kids Foundation, the 2006 CSUDH women’s volleyball team took time out of practice to visit two Carson schools. During the time spent with 5th graders, the Toros spoke to them about the value of an education and pursing their dreams. Later, the team met with the Carson HS volleyball team and talked about using sports as a tool to help them reach their goals. Includes photo gallery
