CARSON, Calif.--The Cal State Dominguez Hills
baseball team has been picked to finish seventh in the California
Collegiate Athletic Association according to a poll of the league
head coaches.
The Toros finished just two games out of a
playoff spot last year with a 29-28 overall record and a 20-18
mark in CCAA play. Defending CCAA Champion Sonoma State has been
tabbed to repeat as conference champs.
Cal State San Bernardino, which advanced to the
final of the CCAA Championship Tournament last season, is narrowly
predicted to finish 2nd, followed by Chico State and Cal Poly
Pomona. San Bernardino is currently ranked 15th and Chico 16th
nationally. Grand Canyon, ranked 30th nationally, is expected to
finish 5th.
The top four finishers of the 40-game CCAA
season (based on winning percentage) qualify for the double

be determined. Following is a complete CCAA preseason coaches
