Moore Named Rawlings CCAA Pitcher of the Week
Righthander tosses complete-game victory against CS San Bernardino to earn award

CARSON, Calif.-Junior RHP Rick Moore has been named the Rawlings California Collegiate Athletic Association Baseball Pitcher of the Week for the week of Mar. 4-10 as announced by the conference office.

Moore, a native of Hesperia, CA and a Victor Valley JC transfer, earned a complete-game victory with a stellar performance against Cal State, San Bernardino in game two of a four-game series last week. In 9 innings pitched, Moore allowed 1 run on 6 hits and no walks, and struck out 6. At one point, he retired 10 batters in a row before a CSUDH error broke what would otherwise have been 18 in a row.

This is the first Pitcher of the Week honor for Moore and the second pitching honoree for the Toros this year.
