San Juan Capistrano, CA -- Cal State Dominguez
Hills freshman Niraj Dhruv (Pasadena, CA/South Pasadena HS)
paced the Toros on day one of the 56th Annual Southern California
Intercollegiate, hosted by UC San Diego, as he shot a 169 over the
first two rounds to finish the day in 67th position, while CSUDH
ended the two rounds in 14th place.
Individually, Juan Bialet from GA Co & St.
U fired a 3-under 67 in round one, and followed that with a 70 to
finish the day at 137, two strokes ahead of Sonoma State's Peter
Lindback (139) and three ahead of SSU's Kyle Hopkins (140).
As a team, Cal State Bakersfield leads SSU by
one stroke heading into tomorrow's final action, while host UCSD
comes in at 11th out of 14 schools competing.
