Azusa, CA Hurdler specialist Alexandria
Anderson (Moreno Valley, CA/Cal State LA) continued her
impressive outdoor season, not only grabbing a second place finish
in the 100-meter hurdlers with a time of 14.47, but also lowering
her provisional time for the 2006 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field
Championships to be held May 25-27 in Emporia, KS. Anderson posted
her original provisional time of 14:58 last week at the UNLV
Invitational.
The Toros 4 x 100 meter relay team also posted
a provisional time, breaking the tape in a time of 46.92, nearly
one second faster than the provisional time need to qualify for
the NCAA Outdoor Championships.
Other CSUDH results are:
- 100-meter dash: Brandy Ziegler (7th,
12.17), Shamier Dawson (10th, 12.47)
- 200-meter dash: April Panteau (7th, 25.43),
Evelyn Graham (12th, 26.28), Marisha Satchell (15th, 26.50)
- 4 x 400 meter relay: (1st, 3:53.29)
The Toros next travel to Walnut, CA for the Mt
SAC Relays, hosted by Mt. San Antonio College on Thursday, April
13-15. |
