Toros 4 x 100 Relay
Team Places 5th at Mt. SAC Invitational |

Walnut, CA – Shameer Dawson (Hawthorne, CA), Grace Fitchett (Los Angeles, CA/Paramount HS), Meia Tezeno (Hercules, CA/Hercules HS), and Brandy Zeigler (Los Angeles, CA/West L.A. City College) were the four legs of the Toros 4 x 100 relay team that won their heat over Division I schools at the Mt. SAC Invitational, hosted by Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut, CA. The quartet combined to win their heat in a time of 46.92, beating teams from CSU Fullerton, Southern Utah, Boston University, and Cal State L.A. Overall, CSUDH would grab 5th in the event, just 1.24 seconds off the winning time posted by West Virginia. The Toros Outdoor Track & Field team will be in action next Saturday, April 22 at the Triton Invitational, hosted by UC San Diego. |
