Two Toros Post Provisional Times in 100-Meter Hurdles at Steve Scott Invite
CSUDH grabs five top-ten finishes on the day

Irvine, CA – Hurdlers Grace Fitchett (Los Angeles, CA/Paramount HS) and Alexandria Anderson (Moreno Valley, CA/Cal State LA) each posted provisional times in the 100-meter hurdlers, grabbing a third and sixth place finish at the Steve Scott Invitational, hosted by UC Irvine

Fitchett notched her second provisional time of the season, blazing down the track in a time of 14.01, finishing ahead of runners from Division I schools San Diego State, Cal State Northridge, and UC Irvine. The Los Angeles native has also posted a provisional time in the 200-meter dash earlier this season.

Anderson would be right behind her teammate, finishing in a time of 14.21, lowering her previous provisional mark of 14.35 set at the Rossi Relay earlier this season.

The 2006 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships will be held May 25-27 in Emporia, KS.

• 400-meter dash: April Panteau (9th, 57.71), Evelyn Graham (11th, 58.43), Alexandria Anderson (20th, 61.71), Dorthy Andrews (29th, 65.56), Keishana Whitt (31st, 68.89), Valerie Tucker (33rd, 75.77).
• 4 x 100-meter relay: (4th, 46.71)
• 4 x 400-meter relay: (2nd, 3:53.05)

CSUDH would next be in action on May 4 in La Jolla, CA, for the 2006 CCAA Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Championships, hosted by UC San Diego.
